Jim Corbett National Park

 Jim Corbett National Park – Asia’s first National Park established in 1936. Corbett National Park offers you opportunities to watch birds, tigers, leopards and other mammals along with adventure activities like fishing and angling.

Jungle Safari


Wildlife Safaris in jeep, elephant are the facilities provided by authority to make your tour easy and complete. Besides, cautious walk through the jungle listening to the chirps of birds, roars of tigers and sounds of other wild beings are always an option - there is a different route to walk through. 

Bird Watching


Jim Corbett national park is one of the most popular destinations for bird watching in Uttarakhand state. Some of the birds in Jim Corbett National Park are different varieties of dove, eagle, pheasant, pigeon, kingfisher, myna, oriole, drongo, lapwing, parakeet, hornbill,barbet,beater, rooler and woodpeaker, green heron, rosy pastor, kestrel, black partridge, red junglefowl, common peafowl, long tailed broadbill, hoopoe and darter.

Fishing



Jim Corbett park being the home of endangered masher fish retains the adventurers from fishing and allows angling in Ramganga to preserve the species. Tourists mostly enjoy angling after monsoon when the fishes breed and begin to appear in huge number. Golden masher and goonch or the cat fish are the popular species of fish found in Ramganga.
Involving in various adventure activities like fishing and angling is a way to enjoy the wildlife more profoundly.
October and November, immediately after the monsoon when quantity of new fishes increases is considered to be the best time for fishing and angling in Jim Corbett.
Tourists prefer February to May as the best time to involve in fishing and angling watching.

Rafting on the Kosi River




River rafting in Kosi is added fun for the adventure lovers though river Ganga offers great fun of white water rafting in Kaudiyala of Uttarakhand state. Kosi river offers grade II and grade III rapids and monsoon season is most favorable rafting season for the adventure seekers in Jim Corbett National Park area. 

Bridge Slithering on Kosi River




Bridge slithering adventure in Kosi river is jumping from a Jhula (suspension) bridge in Kosi river tied on a rope, slithering down for around 6 feet and finally jumping into the river where a Kayak is waiting for the adventurer to take back. Bridge slithering is done nearby the Garjia temple and is widely enjoyed by the tourists. Expert instructor thoroughly advice the adventurer before slithering from the bridge.

River Crossing on Kosi River 



River crossing is an adventure of crossing the Kosi river through a rope. Cautiously walking on the rope to cross the huge perennial river Kosi is fun and challenge that most of the tourists love to enjoy. Expert supervisors instruct the adventurer before river crossing activity.

Rock Climbing Wall



One of the most enjoyable and popular sports, Rock Climbing is also a very rewarding activity. It is both physically and technically challenging and is also great fun. One can enjoy this activity at Corbett on our specially created artificial rock climbing wall.

Burma Bridge




This is a fun activity for those wanting to try something new. The Burma Bridge consists of a long rope bridge that has been suspended at a height. One can take the adventurous walk across the bridge once they are wearing the safety harness. You would really enjoy to cross the 60 feet suspended bridge.

Best Time to Visit
Jim Corbett National Park opens for the tourists from 15th November till 15th June every year. After monsoon, from mid-September to mid November, time is dedicated to reconstruction of the route.
